Driving to the south of Madagascar
Self drive 4x4 cars for rent to go to the surroundings of the southwest of Madagascar. This about 1000 kilometers journey can be done in 7 days minimum with stops at the national parks of Ranomafana, Isalo in Ranohira, Andringitra, Anja Community Reserve Park. This tour is ideally possible from February to December from 60 euros per day.
Driving to the southwest
The southwest coast of is about 600 kilometers of unpaved roads from Morondava to Tulear. Note that there is almost no telephone network on this road. You can explore baobabs forests from June to October. The price of self-driving for the south is 150 euros per day.
Driving to the the Tsingy
Driving yourself the unpaved road to the Tsingy de Bemaraha is quite easy for just one day of driving from June to October. This destination is either associated with the southern and/or southwest circuit.
Car rental price
- Rental price without driver/chauffeur (self-drive) : 99 euros per day for the first week and 70 euros per day from the second week onwards without off-road or 2 999 euros up to 3 weeks including off-road, without security deposit and without excess (there will be no visual inspection upon delivery or return of the rental car: any damage to the car will be the responsibility of the rental company).
- Rental price with driver/chauffeur : 60 euros per day without off-road or 80 euros per day with off-road.
- A rental day runs from am 00:00 to pm 11:59
